My current, most overarching mission is finishing the story I began many years ago. To that end, I spend much of my days writing, editing, and sending emails to literary agents. This is not because I think it’s a story that will change lives or the world. It’s just a good story, and that is what I do.
And besides, I owe it to the characters.
My other mission, at this moment, is to pour a shot of Bailey’s into my husband’s coffee and wish him Happy Birthday.
