I am a retiree who worked for twenty years in the Events Department at San Francisco’s Mechanics’ Institute, one of the oldest libraries on the West Coast. My short stories have appeared in magazines and anthologies like Space and Time, Crimson Fog, and State of Horror: Louisiana, and Another Dimension. My nonfiction appeared as feature articles in the Nob Hill Gazette, film reviews for Culture Vulture, and the occasional program note for the San Francisco International Film Festival.

I live in San Francisco with my husband and our cat and far too many books.

My novel, The Newcomers: The Chronicles of Touperdu, the first in a series, will be published by Sibylline Press on January 9, 2026.
